Jelqing is a shaft-stroking penis stretching exercise that trains the penis at the cellular level.

Jelqing is a basic exercise, which uses a firm, stroking motion to force nutrient-rich blood into the penis.
At the same time it trains the tissues of your penis, to increase size.
This is a simple, but effective, four-step exercise, performed while the penis is at a 50-75% erection level.

Does Jelqing Work?
In addition to some medical communities recongnizing jelqing, there are some testimonials on penis enlargement forums that can testify their results.
Here is a quote on Jelqing from Cornell University's medical school:
7 Male Subject Jelqing Study
Study completed September 30, 2018
Principal Investigator: Dr. Jeff Ferrara, MD
I, Dr. Ferrara, specialize in Andrology, which is the study of male sexual health.
I was able to sign-up 8 male subjects who were willing to help us prove whether jelqing was, in fact, an effective penis enlargement technique.
The results were quite revealing.
The Experimental Setup
- 8 men between the ages of 25 and 40.
- To keep it simple, each man was required to do a 200 stroke jelqing session every day for 3 months.
- Each subject was required to tally each stroke on paper to make sure that the stroke count was as accuate as possible. These tallies were returned back to me.
- Each male used the same water-based lubricant that I administered.
- One subject dropped out in the middle of the study - so I have only reported the results of the 7 men that completed the study and completely ignored the drop out's data.
- Each subject came to my office for a measurement every two weeks.
- Each measurement appointment consisted of only erect length and erect girth.
How Each Measurement was Taken
You might be wondering if I personally took each measurement.
I did not.
The reason being was because I know that sexual arousal could be affected if I was doing the measurement, so I thought it would be best for each man to take the measurement.
Therefore, I did not want to corrupt the results because I wanted to make sure that each man was at a maximum erection level.
So when each subject came to the office, they went into a seperate room which had a camera setup.
Each subject was instructed to achieve their maximum erection hardness.
My reasoning is that every guy knows their true max hardness level, so I left it to their discretion.
Each subject was trained on how to measure their penis using the measuring technique described here.
The camera was aimed down and filmed each subject doing both an erect length and erect girth measurement.
The camera was only zoomed in on the penis so their identity was perfectly concealed.
I would then take the recorded video data and watch it to see if they did the measurement correctly.
If so, I would add that measurement to the master data set.
Fortunately, it's really easy to do these length and girth measurements, so I did not have to reject any data due to improper measurement.
The Jelqing Study Results

Dr. Ferrara's Jelqing Study Conclusion
The clear conclusion is that jelqing does not have a significant effect on erect penis size.
There were little to none in length gains.
There were minor girth gains in some subjects, but nothing significant.
There does seem to be a very weak positive trend in size, however, due to the timeframe of the study, we cannot conclude if it is linear or asymptotic.
We did not explore the post 3 month (13 week) jelqing period.
Additionally, the variance in of all the subject's results does not provide a positive trendline to suggest that jelqing can increase penis size.
Additionally for subjects who did experience a small increase in size, it would be hard to justify and prescribe the jelqing method as a worthwhile therapy to accomplish this size, given the time and energy it required.
Our study only looked at the "Jelqing" technique, so our conclusions are based on it.
This study did not look at other popular methods like penis pumps and extenders - however, we may do a study on these in the future.

So Should You Do Jelqing?
Simply put, jelqing is better than doing nothing.
If you could do something to gain fractions of an inch - would you do it?
Most men who truly want it, will.
Here are the benefits of jelqing:
- It primarily targets girth gains (not length). Women prefer girth for pleasure over length.
- Minor length gains can be observed due to the pulling-nature of the exercise.
- It provides stronger, fuller, healthier erections.
- It promotes delivery of nutrient-rich blood to all of your penile tissues, which is directly responsible for cell hyperplasia (increasing number of cells in your penile tissue).
Jelqing is a form of penis stretching that causes micro tears in the penis tissue and promotes strong blood flow in the penis.
Why Jelqing May Work
You'll notice that my 7 subjects in the study added a small amount of size.
Here are my scientifc hypotheses on why jelqing may work a little.
Jelqing works because it uses the positive pressure from your OK-grip to pump blood into your Corpora Cavernosa in the shaft of your penis.
It's like a penis pump made with your fingers.
Think of it like what happens when you squeeze a semi-inflated balloon.
If you squeeze one side, then all the air will be pushed into the other side and the balloon will expand outward.
Now take this analogy and apply it to your penis.
Now, instead of air causing a balloon surface to expand outward, it's blood pushing outwards on your penile tissues!
Now when you apply this pumping force over many hours of jelqing sessions and thousands of reps, your body adapts to these constant changes by naturally expanding outward, with the force.
This is how your girth gains appear.
Jelqing is one of the basic exercises out of all penis enlargement techniques.
Not only that, but it is probably the easiest exercise to get started with.
